Leila began her career in an afterschool program and rose to Director of Human Assets, Operations at a national nonprofit, where she managed HR systems, compliance across 26 states, and COVID-19 policies. She then led benefits and leave policies for a 600-person company.
Leila holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a Business minor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a Certified Retirement Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP) and holds a Google Project Management Certificate.
She lives in Chicago with her husband, Ady, their cat, Zaya, and dog, Rocky.
