Claytoya is a native New Yorker who has spent over 14 years in the non-profit sector serving in human resource, talent management, and program leadership roles. Passionate about organizational development, community impact, and leadership success, Claytoya specializes in designing and implementing policies and systems that can improve team performance, accelerate business effectiveness, and scale diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes within companies.

Prior to joining Positively Partners, Claytoya served as the former Managing Director of Talent & Equity at Code Nation as well as the DEI Director at Prospect Schools where she oversaw the organizations' day-to-day human resource operations and multi-year DEI Strategic Plans. She is recognized for her anti-racist approach to developing people managers, building community partnerships, and embedding DEI into talent acquisition, performance management, and employee benefits compensation and benefits practices.

Claytoya graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and African American Studies and a Master's Degree in Sociology. Outside of work, Claytoya enjoys blogging and canvassing for local political organizations to help advance progressive civil liberties issues in the U.S.
