Jung Yun specializes in sourcing and full lifecycle recruitment. She specializes in using the tools and frameworks developed by Positively Partners to screen candidates in ways to promote equity and inclusion.
Jung is passionate about helping nonprofit organizations find exceptional people to join their teams - individuals who have both the necessary skills and commitment to mission. She is also invested in ensuring candidates have a positive experience and are able to navigate the selection process so that they fully assess the organization and team they may be joining.
Before transitioning to talent recruitment, Jung spent close to a decade as a teacher, coach, advisor and admissions officer in a secondary education institution in New Hampshire. In her various roles she focused on increasing diversity on campus, equity and inclusion in student life as well as the admissions and application process.
Jung was born in Korea and came to the US when she was 15 years old. She lives in Portland, Maine with her partner and two sons. She is an avid backyard farmer and enthusiastic about all active outdoor sports and traveling.
